The first ever Ventana Research Technology Innovation Awards recognize technology vendors who have introduced innovations in technology to advance business and IT. The awards distinguish pioneers that have developed clear visionary and transformative technology and showcase what technology vendors have done to advance the computing potential of their applications and technology so that it can be used to drive better efficiency and productivity as well as the outcomes and performance of an organization. As part of the scoring process and methodology, Ventana Research examined submissions and nominations from the research team to assess, score and select the technology that has the best impact for that specific category.

"We are thrilled to be acknowledged by Ventana Research and for being credited for helping our customers strategically manage the multi-domain information that is necessary to solve their business objectives," said Andreas Lorenzen, President of Stibo Systems. "By linking all of their product, supplier, and customer operational information, the STEP platform has resulted in faster time to value and a greater return on investment.”

About the Ventana Research Leadership Award

The 2012 Ventana Research Leadership Awards recognize individuals and organizations that have advanced business leadership by effectively utilizing their people, processes, information and technology to achieve the best outcomes. The Leadership Awards showcase not only organizations but also the leaders and pioneers who have contributed to their organizations’ successes. These practitioners exemplify the fact that delivering business success requires the successful efforts of a team guided by strong, visionary, effective leadership.

The awards are judged by the analysts at Ventana Research, an industry-renowned research team with hundreds of years of experience in business and technology. The team will evaluate each submission to assess the organization’s use of people, processes, information and technology, the best practices it developed and the project’s business impacts on the organization in 2011 and 2012 as well as the projected value in 2013.
