World-Renowned Confectionery Brand Chooses Stibo Systems to Improve Operations in Expanding Global Markets
Italy-based Company Employing Industry-Leading MDM Solution in the Cloud to Increase Market Share and Enhance Efficiencies in Product Master Data Management
Aarhus, Denmark, October 08, 2018 – Stibo Systems, the global leader in Business-first Master Data Management (MDM)™ solutions, today announced that Loacker – a globally recognized producer of wafer and chocolate specialties – has selected a Stibo Systems MDM solution to improve its digital presence and continue to support its expanding global market footprint.
Begun more than 90 years ago as a pastry shop in Bolzano, Italy, Loacker is now a global player selling wafers and chocolates specialties, coffee, waffles and patisserie in cafés and stores across more than 100 countries worldwide. As its global footprint has grown, so has the need for a centralized system to manage data on its numerous products to serve its many customers and partners – including retailers, wholesalers, distributors and its own retail stores.
“Our biggest aim is to embed the Loacker brand in the hearts and minds of every consumer in the world as a synonym for unique quality and wholesome natural goodness,” said Ulrich Zuenelli, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director Sales & Marketing at Loacker. “This requires the increasingly complex data that we feed to our diverse consumers and partners be of the same high quality as our products – and consistent across our numerous channels, brands, electronic formats and 30 content languages. Stibo Systems’ master data management solution was the best solution to help us meet this challenge.”
Loacker will use the Stibo Systems Product MDM solution to centralize data on thousands of staged products, as well as data on its many points of sale. Deployed as a cloud solution, the software will provide direct access to data via key external product syndication networks, enabling the company’s multitude of customers and channel partners to optimize and standardize their own processes and sales channels. Loacker contracted with regional consultancy company abilex of Stuttgart, Germany – an expert in product information management, digital asset management and digital transformation – to implement the Stibo Systems solution.
“Loacker has accomplished huge growth by employing innovation and automation in their manufacturing facilities, but it is the skilled craftsmanship that enables them to deliver the utmost quality,” said Stibo Systems President, Europe, Christian Oertzen. “In the same way, Stibo Systems delivers not only the best product, but the best customer experience we can possibly provide. Working with abilex we will ensure Loacker receives a 5-star product and a 5-star implementation as well.”
Stibo Systems is joining hundreds of customers from around the world this week at its Connect 2018 Customer Conference in San Diego, California, USA.
