Atlanta, October 12, 2021 – Stibo Systems was chosen as a finalist for the 2021 Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association Technology Council (ATC) Technology Innovation Award. The award recognizes technology solution/service providers that introduce innovations that support, enhance and/or advance aftermarket business processes.
"Stibo Systems has served the automotive aftermarket retailers and manufacturers for more than 25 years," said Director of Industry Strategy Brian Cluster, who led the team. He presented at the ATC Fall Meeting on Stibo Systems' new vehicle concept automation feature, which enables accuracy and speed to market.
Automotive manufacturers are continuously challenged to bring to market new aftermarket parts to support specific new vehicles. There is an incredible time pressure as well as an imperative to being correct 100% of the time. Stibo Systems has created a new vehicle data model and automations within their PIM to help suppliers save time while ensuring quality. This new feature allows suppliers to create a data model for a new vehicle before the industry standard is available. Once the standard becomes available and they accept the standard, it automatically merges the information and connects the right parts for the new standard for the vehicle, reducing the chance of redundant new vehicle data models and errors in mismatched parts.
"Our concept increases visibility into new vehicles and updates to existing vehicles, merging automatically with Autocare data to lower risk and save time," Cluster said.
The new feature is just one of dozens of innovations Stibo Systems rolls out to customers every year.
