Stibo Systems Platform enables robust, granular privilege configurations at the object and IP levels, ensuring your data remains safe when accessing the data delivery services.
Only authorized users can gain access to data, and those with access will only be sent data that they have been explicitly granted.
Stibo Systems Platform allows you to transform and map data to meet the specific requirements of different target systems. This includes support for attribute transformations – such as modification of attribute values, names and identities of the target object – while onboarding data from the source object to the target object. This transformation option ensures that the source object data is not changed; only the target object data is altered by the applied transformations.
You have the flexibility to apply a set of predefined attribute transformations to a value, enabling you to avoid duplication of transformations.
Transformations can also be used to modify data before it is loaded into Stibo Systems Platform. This includes splitting one data column into multiple attribute values, appending and prepending data to values, performing search and replace, and cleaning data prior to importing. Multiple transformations can be applied sequentially to the columns of data.
Additionally, data mapping functionality allows for syncing data from external systems with Stibo Systems Platform’s data, including inbound and outbound data mapping. The mapping functionality also includes transformations, which allow the data to be changed as needed.
Stibo Systems Platform’s data delivery services can be configured to handle event messaging, including defining subscriptions in the language of service-specific schema, which can be used to keep a search index or cache updated efficiently.
This enables you to maintain data integrity and compliance by ensuring that changes are tracked and managed properly.
The data delivery service allows applications to look up objects using alternative identifiers, such as a GTIN code for a product, instead of the Stibo Systems Platform ID. This ensures the accurate retrieval and management of data while supporting compliance with data governance policies.
Data delivery services include the ability to roll back transactions and inform Stibo Systems Platform when the delivery of a change notification event to a customer-hosted event queue fails, prioritizing the synchronization of Stibo Systems Platform’s data.
Improved email notification tools simplify error handling for both inbound and outbound integration endpoints and event processors by allowing administrators to specify separate email addresses to receive error alerts based on the type of error encountered. This means email notifications can be distributed to two groups of users: those monitoring fatal processing errors and those who can address data warnings and/or errors that do not cause the process to stop.
When configured, the new connection error handling parameters allow for automated reconnection attempts when the external system is unavailable. If the issue continues after the retry duration expires, you will receive email alerts based on your configuration.
Stibo Systems Platform ensures high-volume, high performance data delivery to applications. Service API latency will vary according to the complexity of the GraphQL query. A query only accessing one object in the Stibo Systems Platform will have an average latency of less than 100ms plus any network delay accessing the service.
Stibo Systems’ operators are on duty 24/7, 365 days a year and will be alerted in case of downtime so they can take the necessary actions to restore operations. Customers are notified as quickly as possible in case of downtime. The Management API provides endpoints that enable you to continuously monitor the different types of consumption to ensure that charges match expectations and limits.
With the data delivery services (DaaS), data is stored in redundant storage to prevent loss of data in case of hardware failure. In the unlikely event that it is necessary to restore a backup on the Stibo Systems Platform, all data will need to be republished via the delivery services to make it match the platform.
DaaS allows you to schedule data exports, enabling you to repeat an export with regularity. This is useful for sending the same data to the same location or recipient on a regular basis, to be consumed by a downstream system. The scheduling requires that an export configuration is saved under any of the classification folders, eliminating the need to set the export parameters each time the data should be output.
You can also schedule a data translation based on saved configurations to be executed later, either as a recurring export or as a one-time export. These flexible scheduling options offer maximum flexibility when managing translation exports.
DaaS also supports the creation of scheduled background processes for various tasks, including generating, updating and scheduling data profiles, bulk updates for collections and data translations. These processes can be scheduled to run at specified times, ensuring that data management tasks are performed automatically and consistently.
