2026.3 makes trusted data easier for AI to consume, brings context, translation and AI assistance into the New UI, and extends syndication, onboarding and matching at scale. 
What's new in 2026.3
2026.3 simplifies AI access to governed master data with self-service activation of the Consumer MCP Server, DaaS Easy-Setup, and an automatically generated Semantic Data Graph. In the New UI, product work gains richer context through structured references, multi-context attribute maintenance, a dedicated Translation tab, AI Prompt Creation, and a CoPilot chat interface. The update also extends PDX with deeper multi-language support, adds PIES 8.0 support for automotive data exchange, and improves Match & Merge throughput and unmerge behavior.

What's new in 2026.2
he 2026.2 release introduces a generally available MCP Server, Dynamic Parallelism for One Queue, Self-Service UI audit and API credential improvements, and several updates for search, translation, matching, supplier management, Digital Catalog, and the New UI. The release also includes guidance for SaaS customers to use the SaaS Self-Service UI for update preview sandboxes or updating existing environments, with Continuous Updates customers asked to update production by September 18.

2025.1 concentrates on performance and reach. The Match & Merge importer delivers up to 50% faster imports in a release to selected customers, and the Workbench launcher is optimized for high-latency connections. PDX extends Product Data Onboarding localization, adds notifications and an actionable dashboard, and gives Enhanced Content Syndication coverage analytics, image keyword mapping and retailer-agnostic content for configured channels. The New UI gains object creation in workflows, approval from search results and administrator-configurable tabs.

In PDX, digital assets can be transformed automatically to channel requirements, AI attribute mapping suggestions can be applied in a single click, and Digital Catalog owners gain API consumption reporting.

Technical updates

  • OAuth 2.0 authentication for mail relay connections, configurable with a client ID and secret or a certificate-based approach.
  • JavaScript logs moved to a dedicated js-logs directory, with environment-specific debug levels, Self-Service configuration and business rule IDs on every entry.

2024.3 introduces three generative AI capabilities in the New UI — product descriptions, assisted translation and image discovery — alongside a focus view for referenced objects and mass asset upload. Faceted Search reindexing is moved out of the Elasticsearch Event Processor so data changes are indexed incrementally and reindexing can be cancelled cleanly. PDX adds AI attribute mapping suggestions, Amazon pre-validation and improvements to templatized Enhanced Content generation.

New features

  • AI generative product descriptions in the New UI, generated from prompts with a choice of AI endpoints, models and usage parameters.
  • AI assisted translation in the New UI, producing fast, human-like translations into chosen languages without training the model.
  • AI assisted image discovery, generating image descriptions and SEO keywords with text recognition and outlier detection.

Improvements

  • Faceted Search reindexing moved out of the Elasticsearch Event Processor, so data changes are indexed incrementally during reindexing and reindexing can be cancelled without losing events or cleaning up event queues.
  • New UI additions: a focus view for referenced objects with enhanced navigation, mass asset upload via Asset Global Import, and improved DTAP support when moving configurations between systems.
  • AI attribute matching in PDX Syndication, offering automated mapping suggestions with confidence scores that users can override.

  • JavaScript editor improvements: better support for editing JavaScript in an external editor, plus method completion and API documentation.
  • A new Self-Service UI screen showing the schedule for update availability and planned maintenance activities.

2024.2 introduces the first iteration of a Kafka-based inbound message streaming component, consuming individual messages in real time rather than through background processes. Import configurations in the asset importer are optimized to handle assets stored in external DAM systems automatically, and configuration change packages can be impact-analysed before installation. Matching gains a new Person Name matcher version and more robust machine learning match recommendations, the Instrument UI adds data container reference handling and a product packaging experience, and PDX migrates to MongoDB while Enhanced Content gains review flags, filters and dynamic record top-off.

  • Inbound message streaming, a first-iteration Kafka-based component that consumes individual messages in real time instead of using background, file-based integration.

  • Configuration management impact analysis, giving administrators an overview of all changes in a change package, an anticipated installation outcome per item and a list of items needing manual installation.
  • A new version of the Person Name matcher plus improved robustness and scalability of machine learning match recommendations.

  • PDX migrated to MongoDB to support continued scaling.
  • Loqate connector updated to the latest Loqate cloud API, using its new AI address parser; existing Loqate Cloud API calls route through the new API automatically after updating.
  • PDX user journey improvements: filtering by last updated date range, unlimited product export from channels to spreadsheets, search by any attribute in direct and onboarding channels, and conditions on complex-to-flat attribute mappings.

2023.4 makes Instrument, the new STEP UI and UX, generally available as an out-of-the-box solution for core PIM business cases. It delivers the first early adopter release of ESG Data Management for sustainability compliance across products, locations, employees and suppliers, and introduces the Industry Standard Mapper for mapping product data between industry standards and versions. Configuration management gains Git-based change package construction with pre-install impact analysis, and PDX Syndication adds language-specific conditions, localized channel attribute names and lists of values, and Digital Catalog enhancements.

  • Instrument, the new STEP UI and UX, generally available as an out-of-the-box solution reflecting the Workbench data model and built for core PIM business cases.
