Stibo Systems - The Master Data Management Company

Global Housing and Building Company to Standardize Business Processes with Trusted Digital Business Core of Information Assets

Tokyo, Japan, April 17, 2018 – Stibo Systems, the global leader in Business-first Master Data Management (MDM)™ solutions built for the highest volumes and most demanding businesses, today announced that LIXIL, maker of pioneering water and housing products, has gone live with Stibo Systems’ Product MDM solution as an integrated system for introducing, managing and publishing consistent product information to diverse channels throughout Japan.

The Product MDM software will streamline these processes using its state-of-the-art workflow engine and inbound/outbound capabilities to ensure data quality and business efficiency from product conception to data sourcing across multiple locations, including websites for internal and external business users.

“At LIXIL, we are accelerating initiatives to further integrate operations and enhance operational efficiency,” said Yugo Kanazawa, Chief Digital Officer at LIXIL. “With the Stibo Systems Product MDM software, we can eliminate data inconsistencies across our channels, and ultimately optimize data quality to improve business processes and standardize the syndication of product information—creating a consistent view of data for our users and the best experience for our customers.”

Stibo Systems’ Product MDM solution will help LIXIL establish a central system of record for product data that will affect various product lines in Japan. This will enable them to acquire, manage and publish information that is complete, consistent and accurate across channels; improve the quality and efficiency of creating localized product information; and streamline data processes associated with manufacturing and onboarding new products.

LIXIL, which operates in more than 150 countries and employs more than 70,000 people, has implemented the Product MDM solution for two of the Company’s major product lines: toilets and faucets. In the future, LIXIL will roll out the platform to include its kitchen-based offerings and will integrate the solution to support broader digitalization initiatives.

“This new relationship with LIXIL underscores our continued success and growth in Japan, and we’re thrilled to be able to help them maintain their legacy as the most comprehensive and connected global company in the housing and building industry,” said Mikael Lyngsø, Chief Executive Officer at Stibo Systems. “Stibo Systems Product MDM and Customer MDM offerings, built on the STEP Trailblazer platform, help organizations like LIXIL establish a Business-first mindset and ultimately create a trusted, digitalized 360-degree view of all of their critical data assets.”
