The STEP Publisher feature provides a plug-in for InDesign that allows you to connect to STEP, the Stibo Systems MDM platform, from within InDesign and get access to the data hierarchy, including assets, products, and classifications. From there you can either drag/drop single assets, attribute values etc. onto an InDesign page, or you can create layouted product templates that allow you to drag/mount an entire product at a time to the page with the elements and layout as defined in the template. It is possible to create entire catalogs this way.
