Optimize manufacturing with unified data

As manufacturing evolves from Industry 4.0 to AI-driven Industry 5.0, effective data management has become the foundation for digital success. Yet many companies find their progress hampered by disconnected legacy systems, siloed data, and inefficient processes. To realize the full potential of digital transformation, manufacturers need a modern data strategy that enables data interoperability, governance, and syndication.

Stibo Systems brings decades of experience unifying and governing data not only for leading manufacturers, but also across industries such as consumer packaged goods (CPG), distribution, and retail. This enterprise-wide perspective ensures manufacturing companies benefit from practices that have been tested on a global scale, while addressing the unique demands of their own industry, roles, and workflows.

Whether you’re a global transportation, food, chemical, machinery, or electrical component manufacturer, our trusted intelligence platform and powerful multidomain master data management (MDM) solutions can help you deliver on the following strategic priorities.

Stibo Systems’ MDM helps SGMW manage material, supplier, logistic, manufacturing, procurement and vehicle master data. It also enhances data compliance, availability and provides a trusted data source for our downstream systems.”

2. Ensure supply chain alignment and optimization

Managing complex, decentralized supply chains spanning multiple geographies and product lines can be challenging. With STEP, you can establish a centralized, governed data foundation that streamlines supplier onboarding, standardizes data for downstream integrations, and maintains regulatory compliance.

By connecting relationships across products and markets, you gain full supply chain transparency, making it easier to improve inventory management, procurement efficiency, and supplier performance while reducing BOM non-compliance. The unified data foundation also enables you to align quicker to demand shifts, changing sales forecasts, demand for product variants, and the need for agility due to tariffs and other supply disruptions.

Key capabilities:

  • Supplier onboarding and hierarchy management

  • Product classification

  • Localized compliance

  • Supplier risk analytics, performance and contract management

  • Supplier sustainability data management

  • Tariff management

3. Achieve precise product data alignment and sharing

To support downstream sharing and syndication, it’s essential to align, enrich, and govern product information. STEP standardizes and streamlines product data management with automated workflows, data cleanup, and seamless integrations across systems.

By sharing BOMs, product configurations, or design changes throughout the enterprise, you can ensure that your procurement, production, and supply chain teams work with a singular golden record. At the same time, you can provide marketing, sales, partners, and regulators with core BOM data in near real time. This eliminates data discrepancies and ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and accurate decision-making across all functions.

Our product domain model supports 1.5 million products in 33 languages, product presentation hierarchies, taxonomy, and around 8,000 attributes at the moment. So, a substantial amount of data must be exported to the front end. We feared that the DaaS couldn’t handle the amount of data. But we saw that it can scale to serve the amount of data that we saw here. It scales quite nicely.”
