“It is a strategic decision that we want to control everything in order to deliver a consistent customer experience in all sales channels. But quite quickly we realized the whole project depended on an MDM system. Omnichannel demands a professional system which is stable, scalable and efficient. You get nowhere with a small PIM system,” says Anders Rahr.

In the transition to a new ecommerce system, Stibo Systems Product MDM solution ensured that homogeneous product data and photos were published in parallel on the old and the new websites, each with their completely different designs. This way, Tiger of Sweden was able to keep the online business running during the transition period. The implementation time was six months.

Challenge

Tiger of Sweden was facing the usual challenges for an ambitious company in the fashion and lifestyle industry: A complex seasonal product life cycle with numerous product changes to master and track and maintaining brand and data in a uniform quality. Customers should have the same positive experience of Tiger of Sweden no matter where they meet the brand. Storytelling and marketing across channels are challenging tasks in the fickle fashion industry and place severe demands on data management.

Solution

The solution is a PIM system from Stibo Systems, Product MDM, that feeds data to many points of contact across all brands, including three online shops. The solution includes 300,000 photos and design templates and data on 300,000 products in seven languages.
