Stibo Systems, the master data management company is transforming the MDM industry and we are looking for an Events Marketing Manager to lead the change in planning, executing and managing our prospecting and customer marketing events across Europe (EMEA).

This role reports to the VP, Marketing Europe & APAC and can be based anywhere within Europe. Extensive travel will be required.


Objectives and responsibilities:
The Events Marketing Manager leads the development and execution of events related to the EMEA marketing strategy working closely with the sales, account management and marketing teams and supporting the executive team as well as other key stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include developing revenue-driving programs and events while ensuring a healthy and growing pipeline of demand generation events.  

 

Major responsibilities include:
•Principle event planner for Stibo Systems’ including a yearly Customer Conference, internal meetings, tradeshows and Channel related events.
•Ensure every event is setting a professionally executed and portrays the company’s vision
•Source hotels, A/V, DMC, printing, and other vendors/suppliers for the various events as well as negotiate contracts
•Research and book speakers through speaker bureau
•Manage relationships with hotel sales reps and HelmsBriscoe for sourcing and site visits
•Manage on-site staff for each event
•Work with executive leadership team and key internal stakeholders for content creation
•Create events in Cvent and assist with website creation for Customer Conference
•Work with marketing team to create email and social media plans for all events
•Forecast and track expenses throughout the planning process as well as manage all budgets
•Oversee strategies for marketing the events including direct mail and email campaigns
•Research and develop ideas for promotional items for the events to drive traffic to the booth
•Create design ideas with lead graphic designer for booths and conference themes
•Attend tradeshows to manage onsite set up and help represent the company for lead generation
•Analyze ROI on tradeshows and events costs versus MQLs and SQLs generated
 
Core professional skills and personal competencies:
•Extensive experience in an event planning role supporting multiple event types such as corporate meetings, customer events and tradeshows
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, business or related field
•Track record of producing results through events
•Ability to build, lead and execute strategy in a cross-functional environment, perform in a changing environment, make things happen and have a can-do attitude
•Analytical, organizational, and project management skills a must
•Self-starter and impeccable character qualities that match our company core values and inspire others to follow and act
•Strong executive sales skills; proven ability to understand goals and objectives of the events being planned
•Understanding of modern marketing tools, lead generation and content creation
