Assignments and responsibilities
You will become part of the R&D section in the headquarters located in Aarhus, following agile principles in software development. As part of the Customer Master Data Management department (CMDM) you will be working in a team consisting of one architect, four developers and a software tester.
The R&D section consists of nearly 80 employees made up of distributed teams with the majority based in Denmark and some in Poland. You will gain knowledge of a very large domain and experience continuous professional advancement in the years to come.
You and your team will be responsible for the continued development of Stibo Systems’ advanced software, STEP, which is world-leading in the Master Data Management field. Innovation and ideas are highly appreciated and you will find opportunity to influence upon your and your team’s work on both short and long term basis.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in software development (5+ years), who might have experience with client specific software solutions. You are passionate about working with parallelism, performance, scalability and security. You aim for professional progress and want to gain unique skills as a software developer. You have an eye for complexity and strive to deliver code of highest quality.
The STEP software is founded in a Java-structure, but R&D works with an array of technologies. A preference for Java backend programming is important, yet frontend technical skills are desired.
Experience as SCRUM Master or ambitions in that direction are considered a plus. A Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required as well as advanced English skills in writing and speech. Advanced Danish language skills are a plus, but not required. The office environment is international.
You have a structured approach to your assignments along with a great drive and sense of responsibility. You are dedicated to well-written code, you can keep your head clear and stay focused even with large amounts of data. You are a team player and teamwork motivates you.
You feel comfortable in an international setting with colleagues from around the world.
